Convidado a participar de uma exposição na Galeria Iris Clert em 1961, em que os artistas deveriam fazer um retrato de Iris Clert, dona da galeria de Paris, o artista americano enviou no lugar da obra este telegrama, com a frase "Este é um retrato de Iris Clert se eu disser que é".
